Delight both young and old with this popular holiday fruit combo! This recipe makes diabetic snacks fun, fresh and festively delicious!!



To create holiday platter

Using 5-6 medium strawberries and 2 bananas, cut each whole fruit into thick slices. Alternate strawberry slices and banana slices on a plate to create the candy cane pattern.

Serve with (below) recipe for Dreamy Creamy Fruit Dip.

TIP:  To prevent banana pieces from browning, use a plastic knife when slicing bananas.

Recipe for our low-glycemic Dreamy Creamy Fruit Dip


8 oz fat free cream cheese, softened
6 oz sugar free low fat vanilla yogurt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 packet Extend Vanilla shake mix


In a med/large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese on medium speed using an electric mixer, gradually adding the remaining ingredients...until light and fluffy (or desired consistency).

Spoon desired amount into a small serving dish. Cover remaining fruit dip in airtight container and store in refrigerator.
