Autumn…it’s finally here.

It’s the season of brightly-colored trees, falling leaves, and my personal favorite - all things pumpkin and spice and everything nice.

So I was inspired to make one of my favorite coffee drinks – Extend Nutrition’s Pumpkin Pie Shake mixed with chilled coffee. So good!

I was also inspired to compare the nutritional differences between my drink and “the others”.

So much for pumpkin and spice and everything nice… it’s not all nice.

Did you know some of the other pumpkin spice lattes contain up to 62g of sugar, in just one drink?!

Even the smaller sizes can still have as much as 25g sugar. No thank you, blood sugar high!

The Extend Nutrition Pumpkin Spice Latte has only 7g of sugar (from the milk), less calories, less fat, and better protein. That means it tastes great AND is great for you.

Here's how to make it:

Mix 4 oz skim milk with 4 oz strong coffee, chilled.

Stir in 1 packet of Vanilla Extend Shake mix and 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice (add more milk, if desired, for a thinner latte).

Top with a dollup of sugar free whip cream, and TA-DA...a restaurant quality Pumpkin Spice Latte but without the blood sugar spike!
