Begin your day with this super healthy, super delicious low-glycemic power smoothie. It's nutritious and filling, and the extended blood glucose benefits of the Vanilla Extend shake mix will help keep you satiated and energized all morning.


8 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 Vanilla Extend shake mix
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1 small banana

Raspberry Banana Breakfast SmoothieDirections:

Mix almond milk and Extend vanilla powder in a blender for 4-5 seconds, or until it reaches a shake consistency. Then add raspberries and bananas, blending until smooth.


For an even healthier variation, blend in 1 cup fresh baby spinach!

And to keep it low glycemic, choose a banana that isn't totally ripe. The more ripe a fruit becomes, the higher its glycemic index.
